His interest as celebrity host was seen in his late teens when he started broadcasting student run radio, WAGO at his Ball State University.

His formal training and lust for the job drove him to begin his career as a radio talk show host on WXLW (AM), and on Indianapolis television station WLWI as a local anchor and weatherman .After much fury and imparting unfathomable dialects in these otherwise ordinary jobs , He took LA for honing a better world for himself.

The young comedian in influence of his wife began working in the comedy club circuit, where he quickly became a popular draw. However much before David became a success story in LA, He was parted with Michelle in 1977.

David had a long but silent relationship with Late Night shows head writer and producer Merrill Markoe. Lately David letterman lives with his girlfriend Regina Lasko. She bore him a son in 2003, Harry named after David’s father. His long time girl friend, whom David met in 1989, is a brown haired medium built lady. The couple started living together in 2001 when they moved to their Home in North Salem, New York.

David is an extrovert as far as prying and punning is concerned. However, David Letterman’s Personal life is a mystery which he hides unto himself. “Nobody cares. I feel like I’ve been punk’d”, was his reply when questioned about his relationship with Regina. On personal front the man admits to being a great auto racing fan. He founded Rahall Letterman Racing an Auto Racing team with his long time racing friend Bobby Rahall in May 2004.It is difficult to find a man like Letterman engulfed in embarrassing situations. One incident, however, that surely will be remembered for his nasty guests would be his interview with a Kazakhstani Journalist, Borat. All in all, David with his pun, his dry sarcastic humor continues to throb the hearts of Americans who refuse to bid adieu to night early on.

  2. I’m not really exactly sure how to answer this, but it sounded fun. I’m thirteen, and I don’t listen to any of the music some of my peers listen to. Really, I’m stuck on the old stuff I was never around for, like The Who and The Doors. Also, I get annoyed with newer bands.. they always seem like they’re brats and want to be the best immediately. I think that’s the main reason that I stick to my classic old bands. I agree with you. In my mind, I have certain expectations, and if the music that someone is playing on the radio or wants to play for me on their iPod, sometimes I just reject the music and say, “This really isn’t my type of music.” On the other hand, my older brother introduced me to a lot of bands that are modern, whom no one has really heard of. I guess it’s just what the band plays that makes me decide if I like it or not.
